The other day I was piling on my hate for the year 2020 when my lovely partner chimed, “you know it’s not like 2021 is going to be any better right?” He then proceeded to list all the reasons why climate change would likely be worse, health care needs probably will remain unmet even if the coronavirus was dealt with…you know, just your everyday uplifting conversation.
